10 a.m.-4 p.m. Student Development and Orientation Open. Seal Hall 301, east wing.
10 a.m.-4 p.m. University Housing and Dining Services Open. Seal Hall, first floor.
11 a.m.-4 p.m. uTech Computer Store.

Noon-4 p.m. Student Assistance and Parent Service Center Open.
University Union, first level. Students may receive assistance for most of their needs in one convenient location. ID cards, health insurance waiver, verification of enrollment forms, and parking permits may be obtained. The center also provides assistance with STARS, e-mail, billing, financial aid, campus employment opportunities, Rocky Dollars and meal plan information, course registration, and much more. Regular hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
1-5 p.m. STARS, Computer Lab login, and Email Assistance.
Stipes 307 and Computer Resource Center, Concourse, University Union, ground level. STARS is an interactive system that allows Western students to access their University academic records (e.g., class schedules, grades, billing information, etc.). Computer lab, printing, email, and online course access requires use of your ECom username and password. Activating your ECom account is the first step. Go to wiu.edu/guava. The Olson Hall 24-hour computer lab will also be open for student use.
