Family Weekend

A Family Weekend Thank you:
On behalf of Western Illinois University and the University Union Board, I would like to personally thank all of the families that participated in this year’s annual Family Weekend events, as well as the families who simply decided to pay their student a visit! The weekend was a great success and would not have happened if we didn’t have parents who exemplify their leatherneck pride as much as ours do! I, as well as the new chair, look forward to seeing you all next year along with new families, and families who may not have been able to make it this year. Set your calendar for the weekend of September 7-9 to experience a new line-up and new family-focused ideas. Once again, thank you, and we look forward to your participation next year!

Registration
The deadline to register online is midnight approximately one week before the first day of the event. If you wish to make reservations after that date, please contact the Office of Student Activities at 309-298-3232 or Diane Cumbie at DM-Cumbie@wiu.edu to check availability.
Those who register online and choose to pay by check must have their checks received three days before the first day of the event, otherwise reservations must be canceled. Make checks payable to University Union Board. Mail checks and reservation forms to:

Cancellation Policy:
Under certain circumstances, registrants may be allowed to cancel registrations and receive a refund of registration fees. In order to be considered for a refund, you must submit a cancellation request which includes a reason for the cancellation in writing or by email no later than the Tuesday before the event. Cancellations will not be accepted after the deadline. Cancellation requests can be mailed, e-mailed, or faxed to:

Approved refunds will be processed and distributed after Family Weekend. Those receiving refunds will be sent a refund check within two months of the event. There will be no refunds given for T-shirt orders or football tickets. If you cancel your registration and have ordered T-shirts, you will be notified to have your student pick them up at the Office of Student Activities within two days of the event.
