A Letter From the 2012 Homecoming Committee:

Dear Homecoming Particpants:

Many thanks for a great Homecoming 2012 where you embraced your Western pride in new and creative ways through our theme, Cirque Du Western: the carnival never ends. Particular creativity was showcased during the Variety Show as well as the Paint the Town and Dec the Campus competitions. You guys were awesome!

We hope that Homecoming 2012 inspired you and has encouraged you to apply for a board position for 2013. Applications will be available in the Office of Student Activities beginning in late November and into February with interviews and selection of the co-chairs occurring by mid-February. Event board committee positions in the areas of Special Events (Paint the Town, Dec the Campus, Spirit Night) , Royalty (voting, Meet and Greet), Boat Regatta, Variety Show, Yell Like Hell, and Parade will be selected by late February with board committee meetings starting up by mid-March. Theme selection must occur before April with preliminary fall planning fully underway by mid to late April.

For those of you who are not interested in a board position, we look forward to seeing you at the events, full of excitement and school pride, ready and willing to get into the spirit of Homecoming 2013 during October 5-12! Join a competition team through Residence Life, Large Organizations or Small organizations; it is a lot of fun!

We look forward to seeing all the great ideas that 2013 brings! Hope you will be a part of the action!
