Discounts for Veterans and Military Personnel
In honor of your service, the following merchants/agencies are offering special programs or discounts. In order to receive the following promotions you must show a valid military I.D. card or proof of service. Offers may not be valid at all locations - please contact your desired location to determine participation and additional details.

Vets Club – The Vets club will be passing out yellow ribbons in support of our troops in the University Union concourse. Tuesday, November 6th from 11-4, Wednesday, November 7th from 1-4, and Thursday, November 8th from 11-4. Come out and show your support for our veterans.
November 10-12, 2012
National Parks Service - All National Park Service sites will offer free admission for all visitors from November 10-12 in honor of Veterans Day. Nps.gov/findpark/feefreeparks.htm
Lowe's – Veterans and military personnel receive a 10% discount on in-store U.S. purchases made during the Veterans Day holiday. The discount is available on in-stock purchases only. The 10% discount is available every day for active duty personnel and retirees, but not all veterans. For details lowes.com
Home Depot - Every year on Veteran's Day the Home Depot offers a 10% discount on Veteran's day. Must present a valid military ID.

Applebee's Neighborhood Bar and Grill – Is offering a free signature entree on Sunday November 11th, 2012 at participating locations. Must present valid Veteran's form of identification.
Bed and Breakfasts - For any active or retired military or veteran and one guest, over 900 inns will offer discounts or free rooms. Check out betterwaytostay.com for a list of participants and available rooms
Chili's - Visit Chili's on Sunday, November 11, 2012, to get your Veterans Day free meal if you are a veteran or on active military duty. You'll get to choose between these free meals, valid on dine in only: There's also a reduced cost ($5) for any dessert. You'll need to show proof of military service to get your Veterans Day free meal - a U.S. Uniform Services ID Card, a U.S. Uniform Services Retired ID Card, a Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card, a DD214, a photograph in uniform, or wear your uniform.
Famous Dave's - On November 11th, 2012 Famous Dave's is providing a variety of free meals and discounts at participating locations to former and current military personnel. Offers vary by location.
Hooters - On Sunday November 11th, 2012 receive 10 free boneless wings with the purchase of a drink for all veterans and active duty military. Military ID or proof of service required.
Krispy Kreme - Free doughnut. Available only at participating Krispy Kreme stores. Offer available to all active-duty, retirees & veterans. Be sure to call ahead to verify your local Krispy Kreme is participating.
Olive Garden – Olive Garden is having a Veterans Day free meal for all veterans and those on active duty on Sunday, November 11, 2012. Veterans and active military members can get this Veterans Day free meal by showing proof of military service.
Subway - Free Six Inch Sub, November 11, 2012. Select SUBWAY® Restaurants will offer a FREE six inch sub or flatbread to military veterans on Veterans Day. This offer is valid only on November 11, 2012 at participating local SUBWAY® restaurants, Military ID or proof of service required. Note: SUBWAY® Restaurants are franchises, so this offer may not be available everywhere. Please call ahead for participation and times.
Texas Roadhouse - Every Texas Roadhouse location across the country will participate in the free lunch event to honor the men and women of our armed forces. Choose from one of 10 free meals, plus sides and a drink. Offer good for All veterans – including all active, retired or former U.S. military. ID Required.

California Pizza Kitchen - November 11 (Veterans Day) and November 12. Enjoy a pizza and a non-alcoholic beverage for free. Dine-in only. Please come in uniform or bring your military ID or other proof of service.
Outback Steakhouse - On November 11th and 12th, 2012 military personnel and veterans get FREE Bloomin' Onion® and Coca-Cola®. Must have valid identification. Also, receive 10% off the entire guest check (excluding alcohol, taxes and gratuity).

Denny's – Get all you can eat pancakes for all active duty military and veterans with a valid ID on Monday, November 12, 2012.
Golden Corral – November 12 is Military Appreciation Monday. Any active duty member or veteran can receive a free meal from 5-9 p.m.
Hy-Vee Stores - Free breakfast from 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM for veterans and military personnel. The Macomb Hy-Vee is located at 1600 East Jackson Street. Check with your Hy-Vee for participation.
Little Caesar's –Little Caesars is honoring the men and women of the United States armed forces this Veterans Day by providing veterans and active military members with a free Crazy Bread® with proof of military status or proof of service at participating stores nationwide. Call ahead to verify participation.
Meineke Car Care Center - Free basic oil change for veterans and military personnel with a valid military ID or Form DD214
Old Navy – Every Monday, including November 12, active and veteran military personnel with ID cards are granted 10% off their purchases.
Ponderosa Steakhouse - Veterans and active duty military personnel receive a free dinner buffet from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
T.G.I. Friday's - T.G.I. Friday's will be having free lunch for all veterans on Monday, November 12, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at participating locations. Bring in proof of military service (U.S. Uniforms Services ID Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired ID Card, a Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card, a DD214, a photograph in uniform, or wear your uniform) and you'll be able to choose any item OFF the lunch menu for free.
