Financial Aid

Cost of Attendance

Your Cost of Attendance is the estimated cost of completing one year (fall/spring) of full-time attendance at WIU – this estimate generally includes tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies, along with personal and miscellaneous expenses. The WIU Financial Aid Office uses these costs to develop student budgets for the purpose of awarding financial aid funds. The Cost of Attendance determines the total amount of financial aid that may be awarded to a student, including limits on Parent PLUS loans and need-based aid.
