Money Management

Money Management

Managing your finances can be difficult at any age, and WIU Money Management is here to help. Proper money management is more than just paying bills - it consists of identifying your financial goals and establishing a plan to reach them. The first step? Obtaining the financial knowledge and information required to make wise decisions, both now and in the future.

In addition to the information provided here, WIU also offers an introductory personal money management course (Personal Financial Planning, FIN 301, 3 credit hours). Talk to your academic advisor to see if this would be beneficial elective course that would help you gain necessary money management skills while earning credit towards your degree.

If you are a student organization or community group that would like information on group presentations regarding financial aid basics or financial literacy, please contact our office at (309) 298-2446 or fill out our Presentation Request Form on leatherneck Link.
