Go West Live Texting

A simple way of using your cell phone to find out when the next bus is scheduled to arrive.

On many of the signs in our system you will see a symbol of a cell phone with the associated text : "Find Out when the Next Bus will arrive". It instructs you to Text 41411 with the message "gowest" and a 3 digit number. If a sign has this information on it, this means that you can send a text message to the number 41411, and if you have properly put in the body of the text, the word gowest followed by a "space" and then the three digit number associated with that sign, it will return a txt message to you informing you of when the next few scheduled buses that will arrive at that stop.

You must use a cell phone, and have text messages enabled to do this. Although there is no fee for this service, "Standard text message Rates apply". This means that you will be charged with whatever your agreement with your cell phone provider has with you as per a standard text message. Of course, if you have unlimited text messages, this will incur no further cost.

Please note: Go West Live Returns Estimated times based on the actual location of the bus at the time you requested the information. This means that it may not account for being ahead of schedule, and the bus may need to pause at a time point before it will arrive at your location. There are also a numerous other possible reasons for a minor or major delays. We endeavor always to run our buses on time, and provide a safe, dependable, and convenient mode of transportation.
