12th Annual Camp Leatherneck-

Don't miss out on the FREE opportunity designed for only new WIU students. 

Camp Leatherneck focuses on individual leadership development, provides opportunities for student/faculty/staff interactions, emphasizes the importance of understanding diversity, and promotes social responsibility by participating in community service.

Due to ongoing restrictions due to COVID, Camp will be held VIRTUALLY on July 12, July 19, and July 26 from 1:30pm-2:30pm and In-Person on August 18 from 9:00am-noon. 

Students must be able to attend ALL session dates in order to be considered.

Camp Leatherneck 2021 Important Dates

Tuesday, June 1:  Camp Application opens 

Friday, July 2: Camp Application closes 

Wednesday, July 7: Campers will be notified no later than this date if selected to attend Camp.  All correspondence will be via students' wiu.edu email ONLY.  

Monday, July 12: Virtual Camp Leatherneck

Monday, July 19: Virtual Camp Leatherneck

Monday, July 26: Virtual Camp Leatherneck

Wednesday, August 18: TENTATIVE Camper Move-In to Residence Halls (to be confirmed at a later date)
