Telecommunication Services
Telecommunication Services is the administrative telephone service for faculty and staff at Western Illinois University.
Telecommunication Services is located on the lower level of Sherman Hall, room 22 on the campus of Western Illinois University. Daily hours of operation are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
WESTEL Services
WESTEL is the telephone service for students at Western Illinois University and is located in Sherman Hall, room 22. Along with offering long distance service for 10 cents per minute anywhere in the United States, WESTEL offers the following custom calling features for students at no additional charge:

- Voice Mail
- Caller I.D
- Call Forwarding
- COT (Customer Originated Trace)
- Call Waiting
A telephone number is provided in each residence hall room. Students need only bring their personal telephone to utilize the services above.
Additional custom features (PDF) will be available for an extra charge of $2.95 per month for one, or $5.95 per month for a package of three.
