Christiane Morel comes to Western after teaching for a year at Monmouth College. She holds an MFA in Acting from Michigan State University, and an MA in French Literature from the University of Kentucky. An experienced actor and singer, she has performed in New York City, Paris, Seattle, St. Louis, Colorado, Kentucky and Michigan, where she was a Guest Artist at the Grand Hotel during Fine Arts Weekend in 2003 and 2004.
as Kate in Kiss Me, Kate 
Some favorite performance credits include Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Laurey in Oklahoma, Bee-Bee in Suburbia, and Kate in Summer Music Theatre’s production of Kiss Me Kate. In the summer of 2006 she performed at the May West Festival in Seattle, and was an actor for The Colony, a playwright’s conference in Missoula, Montana.
