Books

As young children begin their school careers they are exposed to the exciting world of books. They look at books, they have books read to them, they check out books from the library, and they borrow books from the classroom. As they increase their experience with books it seems natural that they would want to write, illustrate, and publish their own. Various software programs support this desire. The children produced their own library of books that included books demonstrating their knowledge of space shapes, their understanding of riddles, and their ability to compliment a friend.
