What is ECCTS?

History of ECCTS
described the development and research phases of the comprehensive technology system.

ECCTS III begins Phase III, the dissemination and replication phase. ECCTS III staff will provide training, technical support, and follow-up to schools and special education cooperatives so they can replicate the ECCTS model and benefit from its use. These organizations identify individuals to belong to a Technology Support Team (Tech Team). The Tech Team receives training from the ECCTS III staff and, in turn, provides training and technology services to teachers in their schools or cooperatives. Training reservations are now being accepted for schools and programs that would like to be involved in the project's activities. The videotape, "Supporting a Comprehensive Technology System: Roles of an On-Site Technology Team," explains the project, the functions of the Tech Team, and the benefits to children and teachers. The video is available for loan to sites interested in replicating the ECCTS model.
