Freshman Audition Guidelines
Brass – Tenor Trombone or Euphonium

I. General Admission

A. Two prepared etudes

1. Rochut - Melodious Etudes
Book I, Etude #3 or equivalent

2. Kopprasch - 60 Selected Studies
Book I, Etude #12 or equivalent

B. All major scales, one octave

C. Sight reading in bass clef and recommended in tenor clef

II. Performance major admission

A. Same as above plus the Concertino by David or the Grand Concerto by Friedebald Grafe and one work of the auditioner's choice

B. All major & minor scales in one octave
