WebMail Disabled on January 31st, 2014

The WebMail website (previously accessible at webmail.wiu.edu and shown below) was permanently disabled January 31st, 2014 at 9:00 p.m.
Email accounts that were previously accessed by this website were not disabled; IMAP access to these accounts will remain intact and functional. Previous users of the WebMail website need to switch to a different method of accessing their email.

What Do I Need to Do?
Current Students, Faculty, Staff or Retirees
Current students, faculty, staff or retirees need to migrate their personal, organizational or departmental accounts to Zimbra. Contact the uTech Support Center at 309-298-2704 to start the process.
Alumni that previously used WebMail must configure a third party desktop email client (Outlook, Mac Mail, Thunderbird, etc.) to connect to your WIU email account. Basic instructions can be found here.
You do not need to take any action if:
- You are currently using Zimbra for your email
- You are an alumni already using a 3rd party email client to access your WIU email
