Windows Patches
Windows patches are critical to maintaining system performance on Windows-based computers, as well as related network performance.
After these generally monthly updates, systems may require one or more reboots to complete the update process.
Macs running Windows using Bootcamp or within a virtual environment will need to start their Windows environment and need to be connected to the WIU network to receive these updates.
Only computers that are members of WIU's Active Directory will receive updates from our servers. Windows computers that are not members of WIU's Active Directory will need to be configured to automatically receive their updates directly from the Microsoft website.
