Two
problems will be based on (parts of or complete) proofs of two of the following
main results that were covered in class: Lemma 7.6.1, Theorem 8.2.1, Theorem
8.2.2, Theorem 8.3.1, Theorem 8.4.7 (Weierstrass M-Test), Theorem 8.5.1
(Hadamard’s Theorem), Theorem 9.1.7, and Theorem 9.2.4.
Five
problems will be based on the homework (for this part, you need a good
understanding of the homework problems which
implicitly entails a good understanding of the whole material covered in
class including definitions, remarks, examples, lemmas, propositions, theorems,
corollaries, etc…) This part will consist of two problems based on Homework Set
# 4, two problems based on Homework Set # 5, and 1 problem based on Homework
Set # 6.
Two problems will be based on (parts of or complete) proofs of two of the main results that were covered in class. One of these two problems will come from Section 7.5 [up to Bessel’s Inequality 7.5.5.] The other problem will be from the following: 6.3.5 (Riemann’s Condition), Theorem 6.3.9, Theorem 6.3.10, Theorem 6.4.1, Corollary 6.4.2, 7.3.4 (Cauchy-Schwarz Inequality), Corollary 7.3.6, Lemma 7.4.7, and Corollary 7.4.8.

problems which implicitly entails a good understanding of the whole
material covered in class including definitions, remarks, examples, lemmas,

problems based on Homework Set # 1, two problems based on Homework Set # 2, and
1 problem based on Homework Set # 3.
