Basic HTML
The latest generation of WYSIWYG web page editors (such as Netscape
Communicator and Microsoft Front Page) have overcome some of the problems
of earlier editors. And word processing programs allow us to save
documents in HTML format (though crudely). Nonetheless, a knowledge of
the basic HTML tags is necessary to achieve real control over page
appearance or to edit existing pages.
