Subject: Teachers

You always hear people using the old cliche, "Those who can, do; Those who can't, teach." I believe that this is the dumbest statement that I have ever heard, and yet some people believe it. I think that a lot of teachers only become teachers because they have failed at their ultimate goal. Teaching is something they take as a second choice, it should not be this way. Teachers should be people who are devoted to the kids and their subjects. I think that this is one of the problems with today's teachers. The quote should be, "Those who can, teach; Those who can't should stay the hell out of the way."
