- Glossary--It includes terms that are essential to a proper understanding of Western Political theory. Many of these terms are also crucial in understanding contemporary politics. Many modern day Republicans, for example, label themselves as libertarians and hearken back to such earlier theorists as Locke and Hayek. The glossary will offer brief discussions of many of these key terms.
