The Institute of Found Poetry began, as all great ideas begin, with an idea. Inspired by a college poetry reading, the good Drs. Rickard and Petonito discussed the possibility of inspiring others to pinnacles of greatness. They wondered, what mechanism, what method can we employ to unleash the creative flow in all of us. With these first unformed ideas, a dynasty was born.
The Institute of Found Poetry, now in it second year, has trained numerous budding poets of all ages, sexes, religious orientations, sexual orientations, races, ethnicities, and all other categories.
