Course goals and objectives: To provide an introduction to the field of mycology for majors and non-majors.

Types of examinations:  Lecture exams may include short answer (matching, fill in), questions requiring written explanations, labeling of drawings and identification of specimens, 10pts on each exam will include questions from lab.

Outside work required:  Reading of textbook chapters and laboratory manual, literature research and review writing.
