TELEPROMPTER

OPERATING PROCEDURES  

1.  The teleprompter program is QTV, but a new version called WINCUE.

2.  Double click on WINCUE icon to load the program.

3.  Click on FILE, then NEW.

4.  You will be given three script types.  Select SIMPLE SCRIPT FILE.

5.  Type your INT and TAG, story or tease into the computer.   Remember to type in ALL CAPS.  Your INT needs to be three sentences in length and your TAG needs to be three sentences in length.  Between your INT and TAG, please type:        (PACKAGE  RT:   ).

6.  When you are finished, click on FILE, then CLOSE.

7.  You will be asked if you want to save your work.   Click YES.

8.  Save your work to the News Disk.  Insert the News Disk into Drive A.  Please do not save your work on  Drive C.  All work must must be on the News Disk.  If you have typed an INT and TAG for a package, save your work as INT(Name of your story).  For example, INTJOB or INTBOOKSTORE.  The name of your story needs to describe the content of your package.  If you are saving a reader or tease, save under the name of the reader or TEASE 1(2, 3 or 4).  Only use INT if it is the INT and TAG for a package.     DO NOT PRINT ANY COPIES OF YOUR WORK.

9.  If you have saved an INT and TAG on the News Disk, please put your file name on the C.G. info sheet.  Place your completed package and C.G. info sheet in the control room in front of the VTRs.
