The Forestry Club is a non-profit organization that is affiliated with the Department of Agriculture. The Forestry Club is also the charter organization for the Western Illinois University Student Branch of the Student Society of Arboriculture, which is an organization affiliated with the International Society of Arboriculture. Forestry Club/WIUSB meets to promote higher education standards among the students of forestry and related fields, to gain experience that is not able to be taught in the classroom, and to generate credible relations regarding the practice of forestry within the community.


The Forestry Club/WIUSB is open to all students and faculty attending Western Illinois University. There is presently a $5.00 membership fee for students, and faculty are granted honorary membership. The Forestry Club/WIUSB meets every Tuesday in Knoblauch Hall 201 at 5:00 PM.
