IDT 517
Classroom Integration of the Internet and Multimedia (3 s.h.)
The Instructional Design and Technology Department will offering this new IDT 517 course in Fall 2008.
The online focuses on effective integration of Internet technologies and multimedia into curricular material. As the major project, students will be creating a web-based curriculum project that incorporates sound instructional design principles, multimedia, hypermedia, authoring environments, and technology integration standards.
They will also design and implement evaluation strategies and methods that assess the effectiveness of the project.
Prerequisites for the course may be waived if you have 1) experience in with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and 2) you are not enrolled in the Technology Specialist M.S. program.

2) Instructional Games and Simulation
Main focus:
Creating and developing instructional games, simulation, and virtual reality.
