  • We’ve decided to call the club the KME math club

• Breanne’s announcements
• • The constitution needs a few minor changes
  • • We need to include the name of the club
    • Define what the members are
    • Change how often we have initiations
    • Discuss if we want to change fees

• Recruitment update
• • Keeping making announcements in our classes
  • Post flyers

• Graphing Calculator seminar
• • We are going to do the seminar at the beginning of next semester

• The tutoring project
• • Date: November 11, 2006
  • Time: 1:00-4:00
  • Location: @ the junior high
  • Students k-12 and teachers and families will be invited
  • We need to make a letter to send home to parents and have them r.s.v.p so we know how many are attending
  • We need to talk to junior high/high school teachers about possible extra credit
  • We need to check into Wal-Mart and see if they will be willing to donate supplies/food
  • Everyone needs to find 3 programs that they would be interested in putting on for next Wednesday
  • Advertisement: Talk to the radio stations, send  letters to families, have math counts talk to students

• Guest speaker
• • We decided to have one this semester
  • Dr. Kranjc has volunteered
  • Possible dates: November 15 or November 29
  • Sarah will contact Dr. Kranjc and work out the details
  • We need to brainstorm for some possible gift idea
