Tropical Room

The Tropical  Room encloses approximately 900 square feet, and as expected, contains a collection of tropical plants. These include bamboo, various palms, epiphytic bromeliads, Ficus, and mango. The room is excavated four feet deeper than the rest of the greenhouse and is basically one large open ground bed. This allows the plants to develop into their more natural shape and appearance. There is also a deep water tank and a waterfall and pool built into this room for aquatic plants and for providing extra humidity.
