What do I do?
Most of my responsibility lies in the administration of Apple servers. The servers vary in scope from simple file shares to complex FileMaker Pro Advanced servers.
One of the most interesting aspects of being a apple systems administrator is solving the complex issues that arise in servers. To me it's like a brain puzzle. You can try to solve problems with hints taken from online forums, but sometimes you have to figure it out for yourself.
The Apple server community is a very generous one. Apple's online discussions area is a great place to read about current server issues and to ask your own questions. I use the forums often. They are a great place to seek advice and troubleshooting tips.
