Saving a Search In EBSCO So That It Can Be Run Again |
| First you need to create a My EBSCO account--which you can do by going to any EBSCO database and clicking on the My EBSCO link. You will find the link to begin this (mercifully brief) process in the upper right hand portion of the page. It reads "Sign In To My EBSCOhost." |
| Once you have created your account and signed in, craft a search. It can be as simple or complex as you like. Here is a search asking for articles in Time or Newsweek that mention "gay marriage." To run the search click on the image below. |
| Here is where it gets a teensy bit annoying. To save a search you need to add it to your folder. To do that you need to click on the teensy add link. You can see it above, next to a folder icon. Here it is again below. |
After clicking on add, the folder will look as follows |
You will also see below this icon and to the right the following: Click on this link. |
Now you will see the following menu. Note that second entry is for Persistent Links To Searches. Click on it. |
| Here is the URL. Now you can copy it into your web page. |
