Yearbook Project

O.K., This is a dream that will probably never come off, but if we don’t try, we’ll never know. After all without dreams, we would never know what we didn’t do … (or occasionally, with great effort, did.)

The goal is to place all the Western High Yearbooks on the web. An admiral goal, yes? A large task – no question.

Our understanding is that yearbooks were produce by Western High for the years 1959 through 1973. Is that right? Feedback please.

So far we have the following years (loaned to us by 2 wonderful people):

1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1972, 1973

We need (in case you can’t figure it out):

1959, 1960,1961,1962, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971

If you would like to loan us a yearbook(s) for those years, please bring your yearbook to the Friday or Saturday Night party and give them to John Knowles or Tyri Schiek. Please have your name and address clearly labeled and attached to the yearbook in some manner that doesn’t mare its original state. The yearbook will be returned to you sometime in the future with our grateful appreciation.

For years before 1959, give us some ideas on how to add your memories to this historical record.
