The College of Arts and Sciences, which teaches over 70 percent of the general education curriculum, is dedicated to the ideal of providing all students at WIU with an education committed to excellence. One unique way we provide opportunities for active learning is by encouraging participation in undergraduate research and making available grants that give students opportunities to work one-on-one with faculty outside the classroom.
