Incorrect Logo Usage
Do not use the logos in any way that does not conform to the visual identity standards determined by the University. Do not alter their properties in any way.
Do not crop a logo.
Do not tilt, skew, or shear a logo.
Do not stretch or scale a logo disproportionately.
Dark, Black, and Purple Backgrounds
Do not place a black logo over a black or dark background. Do not place a purple logo over a purple or dark background. See [link to keyline info] and [link to white box info] for more information.
Do not place a logo over a heavily patterned or "busy" background without enclosing it in a white box.
Do not reverse the colors of a logo.
Do not screen or lighten the colors of a logo.
Do not separate the name from the mark of a logo.
Rocky's head must appear in purple and gold or purple only or black only when using the Western Illinois Rocky head sweep logo or the Rocky head.
Rocky's teeth and the whites of his eyes must always appear white when using the Western llinois Rocky head sweep logo or the Rocky head. On non-white backgrounds or materials, the fill of Rocky's face should appear gold (when using the full-color version of the logo) or white (when using the purple- or black-stroke versions of the logo).
