Document and Publication Services

WIU Facilities Management will be closing off the west drive to the Commissary and Document Publication Services in order to replace the storm sewer. This work will begin at 7:00am on Monday, April 8, 2013 and will be finished by 5:00pm on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 weather permitting. Access to the buildings during this time is limited to the east side of the buildings. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Troy Rhoads at 309/298-1834 x.244.

Since students use DPS, please post in your buildings that this will be happening so that they are aware of how to access the building during these dates.

Landscape Herbicide Spraying

Starting Friday, April 5, 2013, Landscape Maintenance, will begin treating landscape berms and other plantings with pre-emergent herbicides as weather permits. Areas to be treated will be posted with white flags for a minimum of 24 hours. These areas should be avoided by foot traffic until spray applications have dried. The products being applied are Gallery and Dimension. Any questions may be directed to Landscape Maintenance at 298-2881.

Annual High Voltage Shutdown

WIU Facilities Management will be conducting it's yearly High Voltage Shutdown on Saturday, May 18, 2013 and Sunday, May 19, 2013.

The following buildings will be without power on Saturday, May 18th from 7:00am - 5:00pm: Stipes, Bayliss, Henninger, Brophy and Rec Center.

These buildings will be without power on Sunday, May 19th from 7:00am - 5:00pm: Western Hall, Tanner, Waggoner, Morgan Hall and the Green House.

Buildings in Bold will be serviced during the shutdown.
