Pam Bowman will identify the principles surrounding effective corrective action, determine when and how to apply corrective action, identify corrective action policies and practices, and use the five principles of effective corrective action to develop appropriate documentation. ™Through participatory exercises, supervisors will develop a better understanding on the application of corrective action.

NEW TRAINERS--NEW SESSION!  This is your session...a time to participate in discussions regarding workplace situations, concerns, resources, emergent situations, or any other topic important to you, as supervisors.  A panel of WIU leaders--Jim DiTulio-Counseling Center Director, Rica Calhoun-Equal Opportunity and Access Asst. Director, Joanna Graham-Health Sciences faculty, Derek Watts-Office of Public Safety Police Sergeant, and Anita Sells-Human Resources Manager--will discuss possible ways to help in specific situations and provide you with valuable information.  Participants will be asked, in advance, for specific questions/scenarios/topics that would be beneficial to discuss.  Names of those who submit topics for discussion will remain annonymous.
