Colors
The University logos may appear only in University purple (see below for color specifications) and white; in black and white; or in the case of the Western Illinois Rocky head sweep logo, in University purple, University gold, and white when on a solid white or light background.
Light backgrounds may include light grey and 30% (or less) screened color backgrounds.
The logos may appear on photo backgrounds screened at 30% or less (in most cases).
When placing the logos on a photo background, encase them in a solid white box (see "Spacing and Sizing").
When used on purple or black backgrounds, the logos appear with a white border (keyline) around the mark and with white type.
Rocky's teeth and the whites of his eyes must always appear white when using the Western Illinois Rocky head sweep logo or the Rocky head. On non-white backgrounds or materials, the fill of Rocky's face should appear gold, when using the full-color version of the logo, or white, when using the purple- or black-stroke versions of the logo. In addition, the logos should always appear outlined with a white keyline on non-white backgrounds or materials.
In addition to the official University purple and black, the University also uses a designated gold.
