Incorrect Usage
Do not use the logos in any way that does not conform to the visual identity standards determined by the University. Do not alter their properties in any way.
Do not crop
Do not tilt or skew.
Do not stretch or scale the logos
disproportionately.
Do not place the logo in
black over a dark background.
Do not place the logo over
a heavily patterned
background without
enclosing it in a white box.
Do not reverse out the logo.
Do not screen the logo color.
Do not separate the name from the mark.
Rocky's head must appear
in purple and gold or purple
only or black only when
using the Western Illinois
Rocky head sweep logo or
the Rocky head.
Rocky's teeth and the whites of his
eyes must always appear white
when using the Western Illinois
Rocky head sweep logo or the
Rocky head. On non-white
backgrounds or materials, the fill
of Rocky's face should appear
gold, when using the full-color
version of the logo, or white, when
using the purple- or black-stroke
versions of the logo.
Rocky's teeth and the whites of his
eyes must always appear white
when using the Western Illinois
Rocky head sweep logo or the
Rocky head. The stroke outlining
Rocky's face and his collar should
appear black or purple.
