Run River City 5K/25K/Marathon (Peoria, IL)

This inaugural event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 19th, 2013. Participants will be part of what will surely become the keystone running event for Central Illinois! The River City Marathon promises to bring an experience that has something for everyone! We are offering participants the choice of running the 5K, 25K, Marathon, 4 Person Marathon relay, or kid's 1.2-mile race. This exhilarating course will begin in downtown Peoria, and take participants on a journey through many city neighborhoods that exemplify the characteristics of our community's historic past, our vibrant present, promising future, and end at the beautiful Peoria Riverfront. Quad Cities Marathon (and Half-marathon, 5K and 1 Mile)

THE Quad Cities Marathon, a USATF certified course is held annually on the fourth Sunday in September. The 26.2 mile run starts and ends in downtown Moline, IL. The event benefits The Erika Kate Foundation and prostate cancer research and helps fund screening. The course captures the essence of our nation's heartland with a consistent connection to the Mississippi River. The views are amazing, the Midwest charm is present and the course is fairly fast. It's a great Boston Marathon qualifier. It covers 5 races, 4 cities, 3 bridges, 2 states, and 1 island, all along the mighty Mississippi River.

Old Stompin' Ground Runaround 5K/2 Mile

The 27th Annual Homecoming Old Stompin' Ground Runaround 5K Fun Run/2 mile walk will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2013. Registration will begin at 7:00 a.m. and close at 7:45 a.m. at the Alumni House.
