- Description: The Zeta Beta Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) is proud to host the 34th annual "Meet the Firms" career fair on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. This year’s fair will be an ALL VIRTUAL career fair. Meet the Firms will continue to provide a focused format of primarily accounting and finance students looking for internships and career opportunities in assurance, tax, cost, and governmental accounting.
A small targeted group of students allows recruiters individual time with each potential candidate. Also, your participation at Meet the Firms increases your firm's visibility with current and future candidates. All of this can still be done virtually to help keep everyone safe!
WIU and BAP are excited to be partnering with Handshake to run Meet the Firms in a virtual format for 2022! There are many excellent features for firms and students to connect at the fair, including:
● Video, audio, and chat communication with students
● 10 minute, 1:1 meetings, scheduled in advance or day of the event
● 30 minute group information sessions/meetings with up to fifty students. Multiple recruiters can attend, talk with students and share their screen.
● Firms can provide company information with students prior to the virtual career fair
● Firms have access to student’s public Handshake profile and resume, and may message students during the fair and to follow-up after sessions - Related Web Site: BAP Meet the Firms
