- Award-winning film FLOW

- Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Location: Morgan Hall Rm 101B
- Description: WIU’s Campus Greens will be showing Irena Salina's film “FLOW” on Thursday November 12 at 7:00 pm in Morgan Hall Room 101B. The 84-minute film will be followed by a panel discussion. FLOW is an award-winning documentary about the world water crisis, which may become the most important political and environmental issue of the 21st Century.
Salina builds a case against the growing privatization of the world's dwindling fresh water supply with an unflinching focus on politics, pollution, human rights, and the emergence of a domineering world water cartel. The film addresses the question of whether anyone can really own water.
It profiles the people and institutions providing practical solutions to the water crisis and developing new technologies, which are fast becoming blueprints for a successful global and economic turnaround. - Contact Information:
