- Auditions for "The Vagina Monologues"
- Time: 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
- Location: Multicultural Center Activity/Multipurpose Room
- Description: Auditions for the Feb. 15-17, 2013 performances of "The Vagina Monologues" at WIU's Macomb campus will be held Sun., Nov. 11 from 4:00-5:30 p.m., Mon. Nov. 12 from 6:30-9 p.m., Tues., Nov. 13 from 7:30-9:00 p.m., and Wed., Nov. 14 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Multicultural Center 1st floor Activity/Multipurpose Room.
Female members of the WIU community are invited to audition. Theatre experience is not required, and a monologue is not required to be prepared. Those auditioning will be given selections from the play to read. Women interested in auditioning must call the Women’s Center at 309/298-2242 in advance to sign up for a 10-minute timeslot.
Men are also invited to participate in V-Day WIU 2013 through helping with production, publicity and coordinating complementary events in the Multicultural Center, including a V-Men component.
All cast and crew members will need to be available for a cast and crew retreat on Sat., Dec. 1, 2012 from 12:00-5:00 p.m., as well as the rehearsals (dates and times to be announced) and all three performances.
