2017 Distinguished Faculty Lecture

Description: Christopher J. Sutton will speak about the process of creating maps and how they are used not only as a tool to locate the features of our earth, but also as a tool for both analysis and decision-making across all segments of society.

The lecture will address how maps are constructed, how they are used to communicate, and how maps are used both to explain and to influence.
