- Description: WIU's Faculty union, UPI Local 4100, invites all members of the campus and community to attend one or both open conversation sessions about Higher Education. This conversation is especially focused on how WIU's budget has affected those who live, work, or own businesses or property in McDonough County.
Members will be on hand along with John Miller, President, University Professionals of Illinois & V.P., Illinois Federation of Teachers.
Former and current WIU faculty, staff, students, and alumni are especially encouraged to drop in and share your thoughts.
John Miller serves on Governor Pritzkerís Educational Success Committee. Please come and share your experiences, ideas, & concerns about the current status and future direction of WIU, Macomb, our schools, & our county. Note cards will be provided for attendees to write down a statement to be read out loud at our upcoming Higher Education forum.
