- Description: Linda Zellmer presents, "Art of Mapping: Maps as Art" on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Leslie F. Malpass Library, Garden Lounge. Maps are a means of showing information visually. Maps can also serve other roles, including propaganda and art. Talk about maps, atlases and their components, as well as current and historical mapping technology and techniques.
