- Time: 7:30 PM
- Location: Hainline Theatre
- Description: Music and lyrics by Cole Porter
Book by Guy Bolton and P.G. Wodehouse
Directed by Carolyn Blackinton
Continuing in the light-hearted spirit of our previous show, this is the classic and definitive musical from the mid-1930’s. On an ocean liner bound to London from New York, the antics of Billy Crocker, Hope Harcourt, Public Enemy #13 Moonface Martin, Lord Evelyn Oakleigh, and nightclub singer Reno Sweeney, will keep you humming along. The score contains numerous Porter standards – I Get A Kick Out Of You, Easy to Love, You’re The Top, It’s De-Lovely, Blow, Gabriel, Blow, and, of course, Anything Goes. This is a classic American musical, full of lively humor, broad comedy, spectacular dancing, engaging ingénues and chorus boys – no musical puts it all together on stage better than Anything Goes! - Related Web Site: University Theatre
