The Western Illinois University School of Music and the University Union will host the 37th Madrigal Dinner in collaboration with Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and Mu Phi Epsilon music fraternities. This event will feature performances by music students as singers, instrumentalists, and actors performing a mixture of secular and holiday music in a re-created medieval hall atmosphere. In past Madrigals, the traditional menu, catered by Sodexo, has included wassail, crudités, medieval bread, cheddar cheese soup, roast Cornish hen, dressing, glazed carrots, and dessert. Soft drinks, wine, and beer can be purchased during the event.
