- Film Club Meeting & Screening: Brazil

- Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Location: Simpkins Hall 220
- Description: WIU's Film Club will meet to screen Brazil (dir. by Terry Gilliam, 1985). A discussion will follow.
Part social commentary, part outrageous fantasy, Terry Gilliam's black comedy set in an Orwellian future stars Jonathan Pryce as a daydreaming civil servant who, through one bureaucratic error after another, is mistaken for an enemy of the state. By turns grimly disturbing and darkly hilarious, the wildly inventive, visually arresting Oscar-nominated satire co-stars Katherine Helmond and Robert De Niro as a renegade repairman (Netflix). - Related Web Site: Film Club
