National Depression Screening Day
Time: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Location: University Counseling Center
Memorial Hall Room 102
Description: In conjunction with National Depression Awareness Month (October) and National Depression Screening Day, the University Counseling Center will be offering WIU students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to learn about the signs and symptoms of depression, as well as participate in an anonymous, free depression screening.

This screening will take place on Thursday, September 13th, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Participants will receive informational material and view a brief video on the causes and symptoms of depression and suicide as well as information regarding treatment of depression. They will anonymously complete a written screening for depression and have the opportunity to discuss the results with a counselor.

This event will take place at Memorial Hall, First Floor, Room 102.
