Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History
All students seeking the Bachelor of Arts in History must complete:
- General Education requirements (43-60 hours, depending on History Option)
- History Core courses (15 hours)

- All History majors must meet regularly with the Undergraduate History Advisor, Jennifer Sandrik-Rubio, prior to registration each semester.
- Three History Minors are available for non-majors:

I. General Education Requirements
History (Option A) majors: 60-semester-hour College and WIU General Education
History's Pre-Law (Option B) majors: 60-semester-hour College & WIU General Education, including POLS 122 and PHIL 205.
History - Teacher Certification (Option C) majors: 43-semester-hour WIU General Education, including ANTH 110, ECON 100 or ECON 231, GEOG 100, GEOG 121, METR 120, PSY 100, REL 110 or REL 111, and a General Education Math course..

- HIST 115 World History to 1500 - 3 s.h.
