Assistant Vice President for Facilities Management Interviews Set

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL – Three candidates have been invited to interview for the assistant vice president for facilities management position at Western Illinois University.

Troy Rhoads, interim assistant vice president for facilities management at WIU, will interview Monday, Oct. 25; Joe Roselieb, executive director of auxiliary services and risk management at WIU, will interview Thursday, Oct. 28; and Kevin Rushing, regional manager of National Management Resources Corporation of LaGrange, GA, will interview Friday, Oct. 29.

An open session will be held via Zoom at 2:15 p.m. for each candidate. Individuals interested in participating in the open session must register at bit.ly/RhoadsOpenOct25; bit.ly/RoseliebOpenOct28; and bit.ly/RushingOpenOct29.

Rhoads has served as the interim assistant vice president for facilities management since July 2021. Previously, he served as the executive director of Facilities Management since January 2020 and was the interim director from June 2017-January 2020. He also served as interim director from August 2017 through January 2018. Rhoads has also served as a maintenance worker (1996-1998); . stationary fireman helper (1998-1999); utilities and maintenance repairman (1999-2008); lead stationary engineer (2008-2010); assistant chief building operating engineer (2010-2012); and superintendent of building maintenance (2012-2016), and assistant director (2016-2017). Before coming to Western, Rhoads was a plant operator for the Urbana and Champaign Sanitary District and he served in the United States Navy as an F-14 aircraft mechanic.

Rhoads received his bachelor's degree from WIU.

Joe Roselieb has served as the executive director of auxiliary services and risk management since January 2020. Previously, he served as the director of residential and auxiliary facilities and the University Union since 2018. Roselieb also served as the facilities liaison to WIU Athletics from from 2015-2019. Prior to being named director of residential and auxiliary facilities and the University Union, he was the assistant director of residential facilities from 2012-2018. Roselieb also served as assistant director of residential facilities (2008-2012) and as a residential facilities graduate assistant (2007-2008).

Roselieb received his master's and bachelor's degrees from WIU.

Rushing has served as the regional manager of National Management Resources Corporation of LaGrange, GA since May 2018. Previously, he served as the physical plant director at Hannibal-LaGrange College (as part of National Management Resources Corporation) from March 2012-May 2018. He has also served as a head men's soccer coach at William Penn University (2006-2011).

Rushing received his master's and bachelor's degrees from Hannibal LaGrange University.
