WIU Family Weekend; Register Online by Sept. 8

MACOMB, IL - - The registration deadline for Western Illinois University's 2008 Family Weekend, scheduled for Friday-Sunday, Sept. 19-21, is approaching quickly. Online registration at uub.wiu.edu/familyweekend must be completed by Monday, Sept. 8.
WIU's 2008 Family Weekend has something for everyone in the family including golf, trivia games, a carnival, a picnic, a Leatherneck football game and much more.
Family Weekend check-in is from 4-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19 on the first floor of the University Union, just outside of the Office of Student Activities. From 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, there are back-to-back activities scheduled that are available for families to attend. The Farewell Breakfast is from 9-11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, as well as miniature golf and the movie, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone."
Cost for the President's Picnic on Saturday (Sept. 20) is $13 for adults and $5 for children. The Farewell Breakfast is $11.50 for adults and $5 for children.
