MOLINE, IL -- Lost in a fast food, leftovers and energy bar wilderness? Whether you're cooking in the world's smallest apartment or the largest gourmet kitchen, or if you're always on the go, the "Food Dude" will teach you to transform your cooking with confidence and creativity. With more than 100 recipes, chef/writer Kevin Roberts cooks the food you love with minimal damage and maximum taste.

Roberts (aka "The Food Dude"), author of "Munchies: Cook What You Want, Eat What You Like" and "Kissing in the Kitchen: Cooking with Passion," will be at the
Western Illinois University-Quad Cities 60th Street campus in Moline at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28 with free recipes, Frank's Red Hot Sauce and demonstrations. Roberts' presentation, which is open free to the public, will be held in Room 102.

Roberts, who was featured on "The Next Food Network Star," is the host of the San Diego-based radio show "The Food Dude." He is also the executive chef of East Village Tavern & Bowl in San Diego. For more tips and guidance, visit www.fooddudetv.com.
